Alex Phengsavath is an MFA candidate at Western Washington University focusing on writing fiction and is currently working on a novel about gay werewolves for his master’s thesis. He has a BA in German Studies and Comparative Literature from the University of Washington. He attended the Port Townsend Writer’s Conference during the summer of 2023. In his spare time, he enjoys playing the guitar and working on the craft of calligraphy. He is Bellingham Review’s Managing Editor.
