Zheous Abalos

Zheous Abalos is a poet hailing from the legit city of Chicago, IL. He currently resides in Bellingham, WA where he is pursuing his MFA in Creative Writing and working as the 2026-2027 Assistant Managing Editor of Bellingham Review. He previously lived in Southern California while earning his BA in Chemistry. While his poetry plays with all sorts of topics and forms, he loves exploring poetry’s reality-warping and medicinal potential. He is an aspiring wine mom who loves cities by the water and all things peppermint.
